John Grisham’s Camino Island Rules For a Second Week

Last week was heavy on new adult fiction hitting the charts. This week it’s a bit light because it appears non-fiction has taken over. Ruth Ware can’t be stopped with The Woman in Cabin 10 with over 21,000 in print. Nora Roberts’ Come Sundown has steady sales with close to 30,000 combined. Paula Hawkins’ Into the Water is a big best seller this year with around 500,000 combined sales, if not more.

In terms of romance, Danielle Steel’s Rushing Waters, and RaeAnne Thayne (A Cold Creek Secret & Not Just a Cowboy) and Debbie Macomber (Orchard Valley Brides: A Romance Novel Norah) are well within the 20,000 sale range. Julia Quinn, Christine Feehan, Susan Mallery and Kat Martin at close behind the 20,00 week sale authors.

Let’s check some romances heating up the charts at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Smashwords:

Amazon: Punished by the Prince by Penelope Bloom, .99 cents New Adult

Elizabeth just learned she’s a princess, and she’s promised to a prince.
Problem is, the prince is my younger brother.
But this little princess is mine, and mine alone. Screw tradition.
So when I catch her trying to escape, I take matters into my own hands.
I bring her to the dungeon for punishment, and a night she’ll never forget.

Finding out I’m actually a princess was a shock. Finding out there’s a prince who has been waiting to marry me when I turned eighteen? Yeah, that was a shock too.

I’m not exactly princess material, even if I do have the evil sisters and neglectful parents thing going on. My life was supposed to be boring, cruel, and most of all, uneventful.

But all that changed.

I’m taken to a city that shouldn’t exist–a kingdom that shouldn’t exist. It’s a whole new world full of possibility, where teams of servants cater to my every need and my room is at the top-most tower of a palace. It should be perfect. It should be a dream come true.

But my husband-to-be would give a glacier the chills, and one look makes me want to get as far away from this man and this place as I can.

I’m captured during my escape by the most breathtaking man I’ve ever seen. He says he is going to make sure I’m “punished” for trying to escape.

I never knew punishment could be so… intimate, or so enjoyable. And I definitely didn’t expect to learn Mr. Tall Dark and Gorgeous is actually a prince too–my husband-to-be’s older brother, in fact.

Amazon: His Brothers Wife by Michelle Love, .99 cents Sports Romance

I’m going to take Amalia for her very first time.
Hell, I might even fall in love with her for MY very first time.
I know it from the moment I first lay eyes on her seductive curves.
There’s only one problem.
That moment happens to be when she is walking down the aisle to marry my hateful half brother Jackson.
I’m his illegitimate half-brother, the black sheep playboy of the family.
I’m used to doing what I want.
And now what I want to do is Amalia.
To have my way with her while she submits to my every command.
But her father has sold her off to Jackson as part of a business deal.
Fulfilling our desires could mean she’s disowned and Jackson’s wrath could destroy both of us.
He’d better be ready for the fight of his life because I’m going to take what I want, which is Amelia over my knee and then on her own knees for me.
And I know from the look in her sultry eyes that she wants to give me what I want, no matter the cost.

Life was smooth sailing for Riley Smith. She’d earned a promotion, was living the dream as a single gal in a big city, and treated herself to one of her favorite things – a professional basketball game. In Riley’s opinion, nothing ruined a good basketball game like the halftime gag, the Kiss Cam. When the camera lands on her and the sexy stranger in the next seat over, peer pressure from the arena forces them to kiss. It was supposed to be quick, meaningless, and comical. Instead the kiss was hot, delectable, and left her reeling.

It hadn’t been a great night for Camden Rogers, son of Portland’s mayor. On a date with a woman he didn’t care for out of obligation to his politician father, meeting the sassy and intelligent Riley was the last thing he expected. Kissing her, however, was the hottest thing he’d ever experienced. Never one to back down from a challenge, convincing his hesitant kissing partner they could be more would be his biggest accomplishment yet.

They came from two different worlds, a divide Riley was sure they couldn’t overcome, but Camden was convinced she was the one. Will Riley be able to let her guard down and let Camden in? Or will the Kiss Cam be their only sexy encounter?
