Some new and exciting books charting the tops in adult fiction this week, although most are familiar faces. John Grisham has decimated all new books this week with Camino Island, with over 120,000 in print. I would say with digital sales, those complete numbers are close to double that. In terms of romance, Nora Roberts has a lot to smile about with her new release- Come Sundown with over 23,000 in print, and probably near 50,000 when adding in digital sales. Paula Hawkins Into the Water is still holding strong with close to 40,000 this week, along with Nicholas Sparks’ See Me.     Other notables with nice sales- Love Story by Karen Kinsgbury is near 25,000, and Christine Feehan’s Shadow Reaper is near 20,00 (10,700 in mass market). Heather Graham’s Dying Breath, Julia...

Read, Write, Love at Seaside Book Review *Addison Cole*...

Bestselling author Kurt Remington lives to write. He spends twelve hours a day in front of his computer, rarely leaving the seclusion of his beach-front property, where he’s come to finish his latest thriller — that is, until free-spirited Leanna Bray nearly drowns in the ocean trying to save her dog. Kurt’s best-laid plans are shot to hell when he comes to their rescue. Kurt’s as irritated as he is intrigued by the sexy, hot mess of a woman who lives life on a whim, forgets everything, and doesn’t even know the definition of the word organized. Leanna’s come to the Cape hoping to find a fulfilling career in the jam-making business, and until she figures out her own life, a man is not on the menu. But Leanna can’t get the six-two,...

KT’s Report from Book Expo 2017 Part 3 (#bookexpo2017)...

Jun 10, 2017 by

In my third and final post about Book Expo 2017, I highlight some books that were displayed at Book Expo, including some of these I was given. Most here are romance, or have romantic elements, which are my preferred likes.   (June 13th Tor Teen)   In a land ruled and shaped by violent magical storms, power lies with those who control them. Aurora Pavan comes from one of the oldest Stormling families in existence. Long ago, the ungifted pledged fealty and service to her family in exchange for safe haven, and a kingdom was carved out from the wildlands and sustained by magic capable of repelling the world’s deadliest foes. As the sole heir of Pavan, Aurora’s been groomed to be the perfect queen. She’s intelligent and brave and honorable. But she’s yet...
