This week in best selling adult fiction news, it’s a bit underwhelming because non-fiction has taken over and stormed the book charts with mega sales, upwards of 60,000 a week or more. The usual big name adult fiction authors aren’t hurting though, like Danielle Steel with The Mistress with over 40,000 in sales this week, and Rupi Kaur with Milk and Honey. Hard cover print sales are barely breaking the 10,000 sale mark, even with heavy hitters, such as Stephenie Meyer’s The Chemist, and Jodi Picoult’s Small Great Things with around 7,300 in sales. Romance authors, such as Catherine Anderson with Mulberry Moon, and Crash and Burn by Fern Michaels sold over 11,000 in mas market paperback this week.
