It All Starts Tomorrow…

Sep 21, 2008 by

Tomorrow is the official start for the Fall TV season and the one show that I have been waiting anxiously for is Heroes (Monday 8pm on NBC) . I would have to say that Heroes is one of the most anticipated shows to watch this fall. *and I am not just saying that because I work for the company that airs is *G** I have watched the first hour of tomorrow night’s episode and is explosive! If you are a fan of comic books, superheroes, and so much action that you can’t keep track, Heroes is the show for you! Talk about a stellar cast of actors and the characters they play. And Heroes has one of the most nastiest villains on television today. And yes, I have a mad crush on him. His...

The Nalini Singh Interview

Sep 20, 2008 by

Who doesn’t know best selling NY Times author Nalini Singh? She has written an excellent sci-fi romance series unlike any I have read, and each book keeps getting better and better. Her latest, Hostage to Pleasure, that came out this month, has already hit the New York Times and USA Today book list. I wasn’t even surprised when I heard. I had the honor of meeting Nalini at RWA this passed July, and when I came up to her and introduced myself she was so nice and had a big smile on her face, as you can see in the picture above. She actually wanted to take a picture with me on her camera, before I could ask her myself. And she doesn’t mind when I try to pick her brain about a certain...

King of Sword and Sky **Advanced Power Puff Review**...

Sep 18, 2008 by

Even though this is considered another Power Puff review, only Bubbles will be reviewing along with Blossum since Buttercup has decided to refrain from participating in this one… but I still adore my Buttercup. “Fill me up, Buttercup…” Anna a.k.a Bubbles, from The Book Smugglers and I tend to enjoy the same type of books and authors. The first time Anna and I really hit it off is when I told her about an amazing book and the author who wrote it. This book, and the sequel that came later, shocked me senseless. It had been such a long time since a book made me jump up and cheer because it was so good. So much so, that I placed them as my top two reads of 2007, and quickly changed my mind about...

Jaci Burton Interview!

Sep 17, 2008 by

When I think of scandalous, steamy, mind blowing, give me the ultimate “O” romance, one author comes to mind, and that is Jaci Burton! Jaci and erotic romance go hand in hand. I continued to be amazed by how many books Jaci has published from on-line publishers such as Ellora’s Cave and Samhain Publishing, along with print publishers that also include Berkley and Bantam. This October should be called, “The Month of Jaci Burton”, because she has not only one book coming out, but two. Keep a look out for The Darkest Touch (the latest in her Demon Hunters series) from Bantam Dell and Riding Temptation (the latest in her Wild Riders series) from Berkley HEAT. I just knew Jaci was one of the authors I had to ask for an interview and she...

I have a Crush on Howard! *Trial by Fire by Jo Davis*...

Sep 16, 2008 by

I really have to give a big shot out to Stacy, who has a spectacular blog called Stacy’s Place on Earth. She always gives the best book recommendations. She also introduced me to my favorite hero of 2008, Lieutenant Howard Paxton, the drop dead gorgeous firefighter hero in Jo Davis’s Trial By Fire. Rather, I should say, Howard is tied for first place for favorite hero of 2008 with another wonderful hero from my favorite book of the year. Of course I can’t give away all my secrets and you will have to wait to figure out which hero and which book when December rolls around. If not for Howard, Trial by Fire would have been a pretty mundane read for me. It seems I have a strange send of déjà vu, as if...
