Former Navy SEAL Beck Whitcomb left a world of privilege to prove he could make his own way. Money, mansions, expensive cars—none of it could heal the loss of his older brother, or buy his parents’ love. Now, after using his trust fund to open the Conquistadors tequila bar with his brothers-in-arms, Beck has it all: good friends, fine liquor, and hot hookups. When it comes to women, commitment’s not his thing—until he gets a taste of the pretty professor who walks into his bar . . . and winds up in his bed. Hayden Miles knows all too well that emotional decisions can lead to heartbreak, and nothing screams “bad decision” like a playboy bartender with inked biceps and a wicked smile. Still, their chemistry is off-the-charts explosive—and Hayden knows her chemistry....

KT’s Favorite Books of 2016 (So Far), and More GIMME Upcoming Releases...

Aug 21, 2016 by

So far for 2016 I’ve read 50 books. On average I read 2 books a week or 10 books a month ranging from novella length to full length. The majority of these reads are in the romance genre and mainly contemporary romance. I’ve also been reading more romantic suspense this year and have cut back on paranormal romance. Also some books that are under the new adult category has lessened a great deal. Usually by this time of the year I have read at least one book that has a good chance of going down as my favorite read of the year, including a top 10 list. I do have 5 books that will probably end up in my top 5 favorite books of the year, but a top 10 list is still undecided...

Emerson Knight is introverted, eccentric, and has little to no sense of social etiquette. Good thing he’s also brilliant, rich, and (some people might say) handsome, or he’d probably be homeless. Riley Moon has just graduated from Harvard Business and Harvard Law. Her aggressive Texas spitfire attitude has helped her land her dream job as a junior analyst with mega-bank Blane-Grunwald. At least Riley Moon thought it was her dream job, until she is given her first assignment: babysitting Emerson Knight. What starts off as an inquiry about missing bank funds in the Knight account leads to inquiries about a missing man, missing gold, and a life-and-death race across the country. Through the streets of Washington, D.C., and down into the underground vault of the Federal Reserve in New York City, an evil...
