From Jalopnik:     “According to Mashable, an organization called the Citizens Advertising Takeover Service—CATS, for short—raised $30,526 in a Kickstarter campaign in order to have more than 60 advertisements at the station replaced with cat photos. The organization is part of Glimpse Collective, which describes itself as “a group of friends who want to use creativity for good.” The original idea was to just put cute photos of cats everywhere to show that people can change the norms of society, but Metro reports that the organization later decided to feature felines in need of homes. Some changes with the top sellers this week on the book charts. JD Robb aka Nora Roberts holds the top spot in adult fiction with Apprentice in Death, with over 40,000 in sales. The Girl on the Train is still holding strong (due to the movie release next month) with over 35,000 sales. Danielle Steel’s Rushing Waters is also hold strong with around 30,000 in combined sales. In terms of romance, Beverly Lewis’ The Wish has sold over 7,700 in trade books, and Always a Cowboy by Linda Lael Miller has over 13,500 in mass market. Fern Michaels, Diana Palmer, and Robyn Carr are all in the 6,000 sale range for mass market as well.
